Really excellent this 3d model, made in sketchup 8 and shared with us by Lucas Soares

The scene is a bright, modern dining / living area and contains all the parameters to be rendered with Vray. Attached to the model will also find a folder of textures with the corresponding bump, HDRI images  and the Visopt #20 of the scene

Lucas asks us also to thank his mentor Guilherme Andrade, training vray for sketchup METRO 3D, which has guided him for the realization of this scene, thing that we do willingly.

How to create 3D trees with sketchup

Excellent tutorial shared by our friend Krisnel Raval explaining pass-by-step how to make, with sketchup, trees 3d models.

We all know that sketchup is a powerful tool in creating 3D object but creating 3d trees manually in sketchup requires time and patience to a 3d artist. In this tutorial we will learn the procedure in creating 3D trees in external software like Frecle TreeD and load it into sketchup.

V-Ray 2.0 for SketchUp Released

The release of the new program v-ray for sketchup 2.0, it was announced a few hours ago by Chaos Group.
Over the past three months, Chaos group had released for testing purposes, in two different phases: first v-ray 1.6 beta tester, and soon after with v-ray 2.0 beta, encouraging users to continue testing and reporting bugs.
