The much anticipated update to V-Ray for SketchUp is under way and an official public open beta program is about to start.

This massive upgrade to V-Ray for SketchUp includes a series of new feature introductions that enhance visualization workflow and render quality (V-Ray RT®, V-Ray Dome Light), and streamline scene complexity (V-Ray Proxy).

V-Ray 1.6 for SketchUp Key Features
Rendering Engine Upgrades:
V-Ray RT – This CPU-supported rendering engine streamlines scene setup and provides instant visual feedback directly in SketchUp for quicker design, material, and lighting decisions.
Lights:
Dome Light – Creates simple, artifact-free image-based lighting through importance sampling of HDR images and optimization tools for light tracing and GI precision.

Sulla nostra pagina è in corso una gara internazionale di rendering , che per oggetto il PUB pubblicato tempo addietro su questo blog. Il soggetto da renderizzare  , come per la gara di settembre, è uguale per tutti i partecipanti. S' estremamente interessante notare come, a seconda della nazionalità dei concorrenti, il Pub, pur mantenendo la stessa struttura di base, assuma aspetti ed atmosfere diverse. Vi invitiamo ad esprimere la vostra preferenza, anche se non siete designer o architetti , in quanto il vostro voto è quello del consumatore finale, che sceglie alla fine sceglie per istinto ciò che piace o non piace. Le recenti  impostazioni di Fb non vi obbligano a cliccare "Mi piace" alla nostra pagina per poter interagire e votare l'immagine preferita... Naturalmente se lo fate non può che farci piacere !
