Free sketchup model - vray setting - moderne house #17

Comes from Vietnam, this great 3d model shared with us today by our now well-known architect friend, Nguyen Khanh Vu, who lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 3D scene that is a modern villa, is available in sketchup 8, complete with all textures, trees and grass proxy, ready to be rendered with V-Ray 1.6 or Vray 2.0

For those who are starting with the 3D visualization, we recall that in V-Ray for SketchUp,  there is a way to replace the proxy geometry by any other object. Every single vertices and faces consume memory of ram, meaning That if you have several proxy in the scene, not only the SketchUp feedback is slower, but You Could Be Wasting memory of ram needed to Achieve a high resolution render. That is why it is a good idea to replace the actual low polygon proxy representation for an even simpler geometry blackberries. In this document we are going to replace the Proxy triangle representation for a single surface with the image of the proxy object. You can know more about by clicking here and by reading the new guide V-Ray for SketchUp 2.0

Sketchup model Farnsworth House, vray setting, virmesh & proxies, #16

Excellent contribution to this 3d model of Farnsworth House, which comes to us from our friend Roquemar Beltran Design.

The Farnsworth House, built by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1951 and located near Plano, Illinois, is one of the most famous examples of modernist domestic architecture and was unprecedented Considered in Its Day.

The scene 3d,  available in sketchup 2013,  is full of textures and any useful element to the process of rendering with Vray 1.6 or Vray 2.0. In fact also includes all the 3d trees visible in the render, 3d grass, proxies and virmesh. For those who want to explore the use of V-Ray Proxy recommend viewing this video tutorial, published by Chaos Group  and the user's guide "2d Proxies in Vray for sketchup"
Thank you very much Roquemar for generously sharing with us this beautiful scene, result of his professionalism, of his tireless pursuit of perfection, and his passion for 3D visualization

SKETCHUP FREE 3D MODEL REALISTIC GRASS

Vray Proxy grass
Being able to make a nice lawn realistic is one of the first difficulties we encounter when we begin
to make our first render.

Basically, with any rendering engine we are working on, not only you need to choose the excellent textures (sometimes I see lawns that look just the floors) but you also have to choose the suitable texture to the scene.

For those who still do not know, in our section "Grass texture" there is a wide range of seamless images. This model, vray proxy grass  made by Phunguyen Vfs, it is certainly an excellent support with which you can get the test result you see in the render below, performed with vray by our young architect Bharath Musunuri. A big thanks to both our friends for this great contribution !
